Job Description
  • Manage complex, Europe-wide political, third-party grassroots mobilization campaigns and constituency engagement.
  • Demonstrate Europe-wide network and political contacts with think tanks, political parties (national and supra-national), advocacy groups, and issue experts across European Union, EFTA + UK.
  • Engage in outreach and relationship-building with think tanks, political parties (national and supra-national), advocacy groups, and issue experts across European Union, EFTA + UK.
  • Manage long-term partnerships between DCI and partners that support clients' goals.
  • Advise clients directly and collaborate with internal teams to shape and execute strategy.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and interest in creating new strategic alliances, building new partnerships, and succeeding where others fail.
  • Proficiency in Europe-wide affairs, including, but not limited to: European Union (Council, Commission, Parliament), and policymaking at the national and supra-national level.
  • Demonstrate competency in deploying digital engagement to advance client objectives.
  • International travel (~50%) required.
  • Job location: Washington, DC (USA).
  • Work from Office.

Qualifications
Ideal candidate should possess a demonstrated track-record of developing alliances, work inside Europe-wide and achieving high-impact results in a fast-paced work environment, inclusive of the following skills:
  • 3- 5 years' experience.
  • Proven success in developing strategic alliances and managing projects.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship-builder with strong political or policy acumen.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, client-service mindset.
  • Strong network of external relationships.
  • Comfortable preparing and presenting strategic materials to senior audiences.
  • Able to manage multiple projects with independence and sound judgment.
  • Confident in your leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skils.
  • Language competency, both oral and written, specifically: English, and French, and/or German. Third language from Continental Europe bonus. Writing and oral language test will be required.
