The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Esports Content Team Manager. This position will act as the student leader for the SNHU Esports content team. It will be responsible for all broadcasts as well as archival footage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SNHU Esports Content Team.
  • Plan for and lead weekly content team meetings.
  • Maintain and communicate schedule for weekly broadcasts and social media posts.
  • Preparation of live events including graphic assets and schedule.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy.
  • Coordinate video content.
  • Introduce Students, Faculty, and Staff to the arena and explain our mission, goal, and program.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in an Undergraduate program at SNHU
  • Proficiency with streaming/broadcasting hardware and software
  • Knowledge of broadcast principles
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Respectfulness and exceptional communication skills
  • Work Study as part of financial aid package
  • Customer Service Mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with collegiate esports
  • Knowledge of technology utilized in esports broadcasting (Discord, Game Platforms, Windows, Peripherals, Vmix, OBS)
  • Customer Service Experience

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
