QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education, skills, and experience:

 

•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
•    2 years of experience as Business Intelligence Developer, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, Data Engineer, Database Developer, and/or Technical/Systems/Application Analyst for a healthcare organization.
•    Epic Cogito Certification or achievement within 6 months of hire
•    At least one of Epic Revenue, Clinical, or Access data model certifications or achievement within 6 months of hire
•    Demonstrated ability to answer key business questions using data analysis and visualization.
•    Excellent oral and written communication, organization, problem solving and diagnostic skills.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Excel
•    Proficient in SQL
•    Prior experience with Epic required

  

POSITION SUMMARY:

 


BIDs design and create analytics solutions based on an inadepth knowledge of operational system usage. This level of knowledge requires a deep understanding of system build, end user workflows, and patterns of use. The best BIDs have both the technical skills required to design and author reports and the operational knowledge to help them understand what report consumers need to see. This role focuses on the Epic system.
