Job description

The Business Intelligence Developer will function under the direction of the Business Intelligence Manager to develop clinical, financial and operational reporting and analytic solutions. The developer will work within a dynamic scope to create reports (RW, RW SQL, SSRS), dashboards (Radar, Slicer Dicer), and related data extracts from various data sources as required.
  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or similar technical discipline.
  • Prior experience with Epic implementation, and great understanding of surgical and sedation operations workflows.
  • Three plus (3+) years of experience with Epic clinical or health care financial data and reporting
  • Two plus (2+) years of experience navigating hospital or practice Electronic Medical Records.
  • Experience with none Microsoft Business Intelligence tools (Qlik Sense, Tableau, Sisense etc.)
  • Experience with Python and other data analysis tools
  • Certification in EPIC Cogito or ability to get certified after employment
  • Excellent leadership and team building skills
  • Excellent decision making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on communication, detail, and follow-up
  • Team oriented, possess strong customer service, communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of SQL functionalities (joins, group by, common table expressions)
