Job description

Energy Components Technical Systems Expert
Houston, TX | Onsite | 12+ Month Contract

iSphere is looking for an Energy Components Technical Systems Expert who's seen the platform from every angle. Administration. Development. Support. Troubleshooting. Configuration. If you've been the person everyone called when Energy Components wasn't behaving, we'd like to talk.

This is a hands-on role supporting a critical Midstream environment built around Energy Components (now Quorum, formerly Tieto). The team is looking for someone who can take ownership of the platform, support the business, and help keep operations running smoothly while partnering with both technical and functional teams.

What they're really looking for:

• Deep, hands-on experience with Energy Components (Quorum / formerly Tieto Energy Components)
• Strong administration, development, configuration, and production support experience
• Expertise supporting Hydrocarbon Management and Hydrocarbon Accounting modules
• Experience troubleshooting complex application and integration issues
• Ability to work directly with business users to gather requirements and deliver practical solutions
• Experience supporting system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance
• Strong SQL and database skills are highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across both business and IT teams

You'll spend your time supporting the Energy Components platform, resolving production issues, implementing enhancements, configuring the application to meet business needs, and working with Operations, Accounting, and IT to ensure the system continues to support critical midstream processes.

The right person for this role doesn't need a manual to figure out where to start. They understand how Energy Components works behind the scenes, know how hydrocarbon accounting impacts the business, and can quickly separate a configuration issue from a data issue or an application problem.

If you've built your career around Energy Components and enjoy being the go-to expert for one of the industry's leading hydrocarbon management platforms, this is an opportunity to put that expertise to work on a long-term engagement.
