Job description

New Tech Global is currently seeking a Receiving Inspector for a manufacturing client in Houston, TX.
Overview
As a Receiving Inspector, you bring value to the company by accurately and thoroughly performing quality control inspections, checks, and tests on various types of parts, materials, and equipment in order to assure compliance with job specifications. Receiving Inspectors utilize established standards and measurement equipment to verify that parts, materials, and equipment will meet all established job requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Document all dimensional inspection results on required documentation
  • Apply and maintain traceability on all products
  • Interpret customer, licensor, and company drawings
  • Perform dimensional inspections
  • Identify, generate NCR's, and follow-up on nonconforming products
  • Communicate with Sales, Operations, and Programming on incoming equipment to ensure compliance to customer and licensor requirements
  • Locate and utilize company premium thread, API, and licensor specifications
  • Evaluate and approve services performed by outside vendors
  • Follow the requirements of company's safety program
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Applicable inspection and test equipment designated by the inspection, measuring and testing equipment work instruction(s)

Qualifications
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Minimum 3 month quality experience
  • Proficiency Testing: See training below
  • Ability to perform job duties within 90 days of hire
