Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our Wingstop stores. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in driving business growth, managing budgets, and fostering a positive team culture.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and excellence in service
  • Supervise and train staff on food preparation, POS systems , cash handling, and customer service protocols
  • Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and sanitation standards
  • Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing needs, and ensure proper coverage during all operating hours
  • Monitor food production processes including cooking, food handling, and presentation to meet quality standards
  • Lead staff training & development initiatives to enhance team performance and hospitality standards
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and inventory management to optimize profitability
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety procedures across all restaurant operations
  • Support marketing efforts and community engagement to increase brand visibility
  • Key Competencies:
  • Proven management experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments
  • Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety practices
  • Experience with POS systems; cash handling expertise required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising teams and conducting staff training & development
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
  • Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and operational procedures effectively
  • Previous assistant manager or restaurant management experience preferred; hospitality management background is a plus
  • Knowledge of food industry standards including culinary experience, food handling, and catering is advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Qualifications for the job:
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent
  • 1 Year QSR experience preferred
  • Other: Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer
  • Serve Safe Certification Food Handler
  • Must have reliable transportation
