Job Duties: Contribute to the overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, and performance of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data solutions. Leverage GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage and support scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms. Collaborate with vendor teams to manage GCP-based data operations, drive automation initiatives, and enable DevOps practices using tools such as Cloud Build, Cloud Deployment Manager, and Terraform. Support the build and deployment pipelines on GCP, and when necessary, diagnose and resolve production support issues leveraging GCP monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging). Maintain data integration workflows and mappings using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC). Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across cloud and on-premises environments. Implement and manage change management processes using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jira, Control-M, ServiceNow), ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient deployment of changes across cloud and data platforms. Participate in change advisory boards, conduct impact analysis, and document change activities. Develop automation scripts and data engineering solutions using Python to streamline data processing, enable analytics, and support operational excellence. Maintain and enhance Python-based frameworks for ETL, monitoring, and reporting. Recommend or innovate changes to processes and tools at the team level based on industry standards, GCP best practices, and emerging cloud patterns. Identify and communicate cross-team dependencies within cloud-based architectures. Communicate individual and project-level development statuses, issues, risks, and concerns to technical leadership and management. Create documentation and training related to GCP, IICS, change management tools, and Python technology stacks and standards within the assigned team. Coach and mentor junior engineers in cloud engineering, data integration, automation techniques, and new technologies, enabling others to succeed. Support on-call duties as required. Collaborate with business and technology partners, including offshore development teams, to deliver robust cloud solutions.

Job Requirements: Requires Bachelorโ€™s in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-Bachelorโ€™s experience in a related occupation. . Requires 60 months of experience involving the following: Informatica Intelligent Cloud Service (IICS), Informatica PowerCenter 9.X; Cloud Data Platforms include Google Big Query, GCS bucket and Data Proc; Autosys and Control M; Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server; Shell Scripting; Toad, Nexus Query Chameleon, GitHub, Splunk, Putty; Python Scripting; Tableau and Power BI; and Change Management tools, Remedy, Service Now, Jira.ย
