Position Summary:

Performs financial cost analysis accounting functions in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives.

Essential Functions:
  • Complete month-end close and reporting duties in a timely and accurate manner; ensure financials' integrity in accordance with HMMA policies and procedures.
  • Determine cost drivers in manufacturing.
  • Perform SAP functions.
  • Complete analysis of costs, variances, and reports.
  • Maintain Unit Cost System.
  • Monitor and calculate inventory reserves.
  • Perform standard vs. actual analysis.
  • Perform detailed material, labor, and overhead cost analysis and review.
  • Prepare financial statements and margin reports.
  • Establish annual budgets.
  • Analyze cost of operations, processes, departments, and vehicle costs.
  • Review inventory valuations for reserves.
  • Develop pricing analysis and calculations.
  • Prepare analytical analysis.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis reporting.
  • Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned. 
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred
Related Experience:
  • 0 - 10 years job related experience preferred
  • Exposure to international/global business manufacturing environments 
Training / Certification:
Skills / Knowledge:
  • Word
  • Excel - excellent skills desired
  • PowerPoint
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Full understanding of Routings and BOM 
Additional Information:

Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
