Job description


This role helps ensure the US Convertible Bond Desk operates smoothly day-to-day through strong controls, timely reporting, and rapid issue resolution.
Job summary
As a Trade & P&L Support Associate or Analyst on the US Convertible Bond Desk, you will help maintain the integrity of desk P&L and risk, resolve trade breaks and disputes, support corporate actions processing, and deliver critical daily reporting to senior stakeholders. You will partner closely with Product Control, Financial Control, Trade Support, and external counterparties to drive accurate outcomes under tight timelines.
Job responsibilities
  • Conduct root cause analysis on P&L discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with Product Control, Financial Control, and Trade Support
  • Investigate and resolve trade breaks and disputes with client and broker counterparties
  • Maintain instrument reference data, including periodic reconciliations and required updates
  • Generate and distribute Sales & Trading reports for morning meetings
  • Run end-of-day P&L and risk capture and distribute outputs to senior management
  • Assist traders with corporate actions elections and event processing
  • Support new client onboarding and customer remediation activities
