About the job
The Senior Director Global Procurement is responsible for leading procurement efforts to efficiently and effectively enable business units and functional partners to maximize the value they receive from suppliers in order to meet their objectives. In this role, you act as the face of Procurement for the company and provide guidance and leadership to drive strategy and performance alignment across senior stakeholder groups.
You play a key role in strengthening senior stakeholder engagement and in building the capability of the procurement organization, ensuring alignment across stakeholder groups, categories, and countries. You will lead a global team of category managers and operational buyers working in a highly international environment and report directly to the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) of the Franke Group.
Your tasks
  • Translates the division's business strategy into clear procurement requirements and supports effective category management.
  • Cascades long-term category strategies to stakeholders and drives alignment across the division.
  • Partners with business and category leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute key procurement initiatives.
  • Ensures strong collaboration with other functions within Operations across the division's four factories.
  • Manages and communicates performance evaluations of key contracts and strategic suppliers.
  • Acts as the Procurement Business Partner for the division, representing central procurement and ensuring business needs and stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Drives value creation through innovation, sustainability, risk management, and cost optimization.
  • Influences division leadership to strengthen procurement integration and strategic alignment.
  • Leads, develops, and manages direct reports, fostering talent development, engagement, and high performance.
  • Oversees escalations and removes barriers to accelerate supplier innovation and the introduction of new materials.
  • Coordinates with HR on hiring, coaching, counseling, addressing employee matters, and managing performance and development.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in Procurement and Category Management, with a strong record of progression and impact.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization.
  • Global or international business exposure, ideally within the HVAC or foodservice equipment industry.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, production methods, and organizational coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interpret complex information, handle sensitive inquiries, and deliver clear and persuasive presentations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning abilities, with the capacity to define problems, interpret data and technical information, and draw sound conclusions in both abstract and practical contexts.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to other Franke locations.
