Job description

Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, is seeking a per diem Emergency Physician to primarily serve its Emergency Department in Danbury, CT. This role involves providing a variety of clinical medical services, including evaluation and management, to patients in a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will join a collegial and stable team, contributing to the hospital's mission of providing exceptional care to the Greater Danbury area.

Compensation

  • Highly competitive hourly rate
  • $225-$250/hr depending upon shift

Shift & Schedule

  • Per diem position
  • Willing to work about 2 variable shifts per month as needed

Requirements

  • MD or DO with successful completion of Emergency Medicine Residency
  • CT State license, CSR and Federal Narcotic Use Registration (DEA)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Current ACLS/ATLS/PALS required
  • New Emergency Medicine Residency Graduates are encouraged to apply if considering a full-time position with us in the future
