These positions may be filled by local residents or international professionals seeking experience in tropical medicine or healthcare settings. Part-time staff in Caribbean hospitals often encounter challenges such as adapting to varying shift schedules, integrating with teams that may have full-time members, and managing a potentially high patient load with limited resources. However, many hospitals foster a collaborative environment, and part-time roles can offer flexibility and valuable experience in diverse healthcare situations.
