Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Core Platform Analyst role reports to the Manager, Banking Operations and serves as a key resource for the administration, support, and enhancement of the Credit Union's core banking and operational systems, including the core banking platform (XP2), document imaging system (AppEnhancer), and knowledge management platforms. Working collaboratively with business stakeholders across the organization, this role analyzes operational processes, supports system functionality, and implements solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall member experience. The Core Platform Analyst plays an important role in ensuring critical systems effectively support business operations and organizational objective.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Banking Operations to support the success and ongoing optimization of enterprise banking platform systems.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather and document both functional and non-functional requirements for the core banking platform, document imaging system, knowledge management system, and other enterprise solutions as needed.
  • Assist with system configuration, maintenance, and administration activities across supported platforms, escalating to technical teams or vendors when necessary.
  • Support enhancements, updates, and issue resolution efforts for XP2, AppEnhancer, and the knowledge management system.
  • Participate in system testing, including the preparation and execution of test plans and test cases for upgrades, enhancements, and process changes.
  • Help monitor system performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements that enhance operational effectiveness and user experience.
  • Serve as a point of contact for platform-related questions and issues, proactively gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining data accuracy, system integrity, and appropriate access and controls within supported platforms.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and procedural documentation, and deliver training to support adoption and effective use of banking platform systems.
  • Support process documentation and workflow optimization efforts related to operational systems and document management functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Banking Platforms, IT, Compliance, Retail, and Operations to support platform enhancements, new initiatives, and operational readiness.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as necessary for continued growth and advancement Everwise.

Knowledge/Skills:
  • Ability to gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational needs and translate them into system solutions.
  • Ability to support system enhancements, testing activities, upgrades, and implementation efforts.
  • Knowledge of core banking systems, document imaging platforms, and knowledge management systems.
  • Ability to evaluate business processes and recommend improvements to workflows and system utilization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to create user documentation, procedures, and training materials.
  • Understanding data integrity, system controls, and operational risk management.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to supporting end users.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements relevant to banking or credit union operations.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years' experience working in banking, credit union operations, or support of comparable regulated industry enterprise platforms.
  • Experience supporting or administering enterprise systems such as core banking, document imaging, workflow, or knowledge management platforms.
  • Understanding of operational processes and regulatory or compliance considerations within financial services is preferred.
