Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for managing assigned projects and implementing strategy related to those products in collaboration with the Group Head of Business Banking, SBA Department, Treasury Services Department, Retirement Plan Services Department, and Cards & Payments Department. This position will also perform analysis including pricing, profitability, sales planning and suggested product enhancements.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Assists with implementation of strategic enhancements, promotions and ongoing tracking for assigned business banking products and services.
  • Partners with corporate marketing to develop strategies and plans to market products to the end customer in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Briefs project manager marketing requests with the Marketing Team, including a Design team and Digital team, adhering to timelines and team member accountability to deliverables.
  • Develops and maintains healthy working relationships with business bankers, regional leadership, and Marketing team.
  • Communicates expectations, responds promptly to needs and ensures projects progress to an on-time completion.
  • Responsible for integrating sales planning, pricing & profitability, and competitive positioning of the products.
  • Monitors primary production data and product performance on a regular basis and report as needed.
  • Analyzes the marketplace of competitive products and related product offers from other financial institutions.
  • Research’s and keeps current on industry and fintech trends.
  • Assists with the annual plan process from a financial and marketing standpoint for assigned products.
  • Understands government regulation and federal/state policy changes as related to products and product line.
  • Serves as subject matter expert (SME) on a wide variety of business banking products.
  • Serves in support role for assigned business banking products.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.
  • Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
  • Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Performs all other duties as assigned. 
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
  • Two (2) or more years of previous banking experience preferred.
  • One (1) year of product/project management experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and learn quickly; to execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills (active listening, professional appearance and demeanor, and confidence).
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational (detail oriented) and time management skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time frame.
  • Able to identify and map out executional tasks to complete projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Treat people with respect under all circumstances, instill trust in others, and uphold the values of the organization.
  • Willing to learn and ask good questions.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred.
 
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel to all locations as well as ability to travel overnight, as needed for meetings, projects, training, seminars, etc.
