Job description

SUMMARY: The Project Manager will provide critical operational and delivery support to the US Business Development and Digital Health teams. This role focuses on three strategic pillars: Direct telehealth partnerships, enterprise strategic alliances, and the cross-functional evaluation of innovative digital capabilities.

The Consultant will serve as a key operational bridge between external partners, internal brand teams, and corporate stakeholders to drive rigorous execution, governance, and reporting for high-impact commercial initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep project management discipline, experience supporting high-stakes business development or alliance management functions, and the agility to navigate complex, regulated environments.

HEIRARCHY:  This role operates as an individual contributor within the Business Development & Digital Health organization. This role has significant cross-functional orchestration and requires the ability to independently manage multi-million-dollar workstreams.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Alliance Operations & Cross-Functional Governance

  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Serve as the central operational point of contact across internal stakeholders-including Brand Marketing, Digital Health, Technology, Procurement, Legal, and Corporate Business Development.
  • Milestone & Risk Management: Establish and maintain documentation across multiple concurrent partnership workstreams.
  • Compliance & MLRO Alignment: Coordinate and steer partnership materials, digital assets, and integrated workflows through the Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Outbound (MLRO) review process to ensure absolute compliance with FDA and internal policies.
  • Due Diligence & Capability Intake: Support the operational intake, triage, and scoping of new capability requests from commercial teams. Coordinate logistics for due diligence processes and partnership documentation.
  • Platform Lifecycle Management: Own data integrity and partnership tracking within the newly deployed enterprise CRM platform, ensuring accurate pipeline visibility and milestone tracking.
  • Executive Enablement: Author and develop high-impact, boardroom-ready presentations, governance templates, and business review materials for senior leadership decision-making.

Metrics, Measurement & Value Realization

  • Telehealth & Commercial Reporting: Author comprehensive monthly performance dashboards, aggregating data from telemetry, telehealth partner metrics, and health-outcome data sources.
  • Quantitative Business Case Support: Partner with Finance and Commercial Analytics to support quantitative evaluations, ROI modeling, and capacity analysis for proposed and active strategic partnerships. And provide cyclical scorecard reporting responsibilities.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Execution Profile: Demonstrated capability to balance rigorous, detail-oriented project execution with an executive-level strategic presence.
  • Navigating Ambiguity: Proven agility to operate effectively in an evolving digital health landscape with shifting priorities and complex compliance guardrails.
  • Adaptability & Start-Up Mentality: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a start-up mindset; comfortable navigating ambiguity and maintaining high productivity even when definitive answers are not readily available.
  • Strategic Communications: High-level verbal and written communication skills; ability to distill complex data fragmentation or technical integrations into clear, actionable narratives for leadership.
  • Problem-Solving Discipline: A proactive, self-starting approach to identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing process-driven solutions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in project management, business development operations, or strategic account management.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting corporate strategy, business development, or external partnership functions within a highly matrixed environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with enterprise productivity suites (Microsoft Office/Teams, Google Workspace) with elite-level capabilities in PowerPoint and Excel for narrative building and data analysis.

Additional Preferences:

  • Deep experience within the pharmaceutical industry, digital health, or telehealth ecosystems (experience with direct to consumer or similar digital commercial models is highly valued).
  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade CRM platforms and agile project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial compliance, including MLRO/MLR workflows.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other digital equipment. Regular, repetitive movements such as typing and scrolling. Ability to see, read, and adjust focus on computer screens for prolonged periods during remote collaboration.
