Meyer The IT Applications Manager is responsible for the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of all enterprise applications supporting manufacturing and construction operations. This includes IFS ERP, custom-developed applications, and off-the-shelf systems. The role leads Software Developers and Business Analysts and partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Project teams to ensure applications support production, projects, and business execution.

Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications. With over sixty years of innovative engineering and manufacturing expertise, Meyer has helped to author and validate many of today’s transmission industry standards and specifications.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and manage the enterprise application portfolio, with primary responsibility for IFS ERP and related operational systems
  • Lead and develop Software Developers and Business Analysts; set clear priorities, standards, and performance expectations
  • Partner with business leaders to translate operational and project requirements into effective application solutions
  • Oversee custom application development, enhancements, and integrations with IFS and other systems
  • Ensure reliable day-to-day operation of production- and project-critical applications, minimizing downtime and business disruption
  • Establish and maintain application delivery, support, and change management processes
  • Manage application vendors, implementations, upgrades, and licensing
  • Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and governance standards
  • Maintain an application roadmap aligned with business goals and operational efficiency

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 7 - 10 years of experience supporting or managing enterprise applications in a manufacturing or construction environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading software developers and/or business analysts
  • Hands-on experience with IFS ERP (manufacturing, projects, supply chain, finance, or related modules)
  • Strong understanding of application development lifecycles and business analysis practices
  • Proven ability to work effectively with operational and technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting multi-plant or multi-project organizations
  • Experience with system integrations, reporting, and automation tied to ERP platforms
  • Familiarity with SaaS and cloud-hosted enterprise applications
