The Manager, Applications Development, Maintenance & Integration at S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. (multiple openings) in Racine, WI will serve as the subject matter expert with appropriate teams to identify sensible, tailored components not included in the standard scope of tools for automation projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will:

· Support automation projects by guiding the strategic development, third-party developers and engineers, and user training.

· Evaluate business units targeted for automation and develop potential solutions.

· Guide automation projects, including design the project scope, test with a formal quality management office, and establish governance processes.

· Lead onboarding and training of outsourced developers and engineers in specialized automation solution technology, quality and development standards, and application lifecycle management.

· Oversee compliance with IT Information Security policies and procedures and serve as the single point of contact for regular application control audits.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

· Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus 4 years in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry occupation scripting business processes to support and train users globally.

· Must include 4 years of experience in each of the following: (1) elicit business requirements to support solutions with Visual Basic for Application, Visual Basic Script, PowerShell, SQL Server database, and SAP Script; (2) project management tools, including JIRA or Microsoft Project to organize project backlogs; (3) automation solution design including requirements gathering, inputs, process, outputs, exception handling, analytics, and monitoring; (4) utilize Microsoft SQL scripting Visual Basic development digital tools to streamline global business processes and enhance efficiency and productivity; (5) assess and evaluate global business process to identify and implement areas for improvement, including supply chain management, logistics, and finance; and, (6) coordinate global teams to deliver automation solutions meeting the key aspects of global process requirements.
