Complete Description: This position's main responsibility will be in supporting MDOT  This includes, but is not limited to, working with the project manager, application owner, and resource manager to define a list of requirements; working on an agile development team to organize work, develop, test and deploy code; attend status and progress meetings with the project manager, application owner, business sponsor, and resource manager.

Software Engineer capabilities with 12 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, may report directly to a project lead or manager, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise SOA environment including JBOSS Workflow and Drools Business Rules engine.
  • Experience developing complex computer systems using JAVA.
  • Experience developing complex computer systems using java IDEs such as Eclipse.
  • Experience programming in SQL and/or PL/SQL.
  • Experience programming in projects using Spring and Struts framework.
  • Experience programming in projects using Hibernate/JPA framework.
  • Experience participating as a programmer/analyst in projects using CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices.
  • Experience developing adhoc reports using Business Objects Designer.
