As a Sr. Manager, Professional Services you will partner with customers, AWS Go to Market function, and several other AWS teams to drive growth for our Demand Intelligence (DI) and Supply Intelligence (SI) teammates that deliver forecasts, replenishment plans, and production plans, while continuously monitoring execution against plans and generating actionable insights while learning from user actions.
As a trusted customer advocate, you will help our organization understand best practices around advanced Supply Chain based solutions. You will lead the effort to provide real-time feedback on our existing teammates, as well as additional use cases and will seek out opportunities to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broaden the use of the Decisions teammates. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges and enjoy making meaningful contributions to long term customer success.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as a leader for the Customer Success (CS) team, and a key member of Amazon Connect Decisions leadership team
- Hire, enable, and develop an industry-leading team of CS advisors for Connect Decisions.
- Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads that support their AI teammate transformation.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of Decisions, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the customer's environment.
- Contribute to AWS internal and customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and blogs as a means of scaling your knowledge.
- Act as a liaison between customers, engineering teams, and support to address customer needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 3+ years of people leadership experience
- 7+ years of technology sales, or 3+ years of management experience
- 10+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting Services, or 5+ years of senior leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
- Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud computing transition challenges
- Experience with consulting practice leadership as manager of managers with team size 50+ and P&L responsibility
- Experience with enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies and distributed architecture
- Experience in supply chain such as contracting, demand management and/or planning and procurement, and supply chain operations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP)
- Experience with design of modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting services
- Experience with international sales and delivery work with global F500 enterprise customers and partners
- Experience with vertical industry sales and delivery work of contemporary services and solutions
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud technology
- Experience building and maintaining C-level client relationships
- Experience with communication, presentation, and negotiation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
