Senior Director, Enterprise Clinical Sales - Central

Proscia

Philadelphia, PA โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Job description

Location: Remote
Territory: Central U.S. & Canada
Reports to: Vice President, Clinical Sales, North America
About Proscia
Proscia is revolutionizing pathology, the last major frontier in healthcare to embrace digital. As a leader in pathology AI software, we are empowering pathologists and scientists to transition from traditional microscope-based workflows to digital, AI-driven approaches, unlocking new possibilities in precision medicine.
The digital pathology market is experiencing explosive growth as advances in AI enable unprecedented insights into diseases like cancer. Pathology is central to medicine, and the shift to AI-powered solutions is not just modernizing workflows-it's transforming how diseases are diagnosed, treated, and understood. Predictions for the future of pathology show a tidal wave of adoption, with experts describing the field as "poised for the next major breakthrough" in healthcare innovation.
Backed by over $100 million in funding from leading healthcare and technology investors, Proscia is at the forefront of this revolution. Joining Proscia means being part of a company at the cutting edge of healthcare innovation, where the possibilities are limitless. With the convergence of AI, precision medicine, and digital pathology, we're not just changing pathology-we're redefining what's possible in medicine.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced enterprise sales professional who wants to build a business-not simply manage a territory.
As Senior Director, Enterprise Clinical Sales - Central, you'll own one of Proscia's largest commercial regions, driving strategic growth across major health systems, academic medical centers, and diagnostic laboratories throughout the Central U.S. and Canada. This is a pivotal role as Proscia scales beyond $100M+ in funding to become the category leader in AI-powered digital pathology.
This is a true enterprise hunting role in a high-growth environment. While you'll inherit strategic accounts and opportunities, success will come from developing new executive relationships, creating demand, and leading complex sales cycles from early engagement through close in a market that is still being defined. We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building territory rather than simply managing it, and wants outsized ownership over how their region grows.
You'll work directly with pathology leadership, CIOs, CMOs, COOs, CEOs, and other executive stakeholders to help organizations replace manual, glass-slide workflows with enterprise-grade digital pathology, AI-powered diagnostics, and image management infrastructure - transforming how cancer and disease are diagnosed.
This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to Proscia's executive team and significant opportunity for career growth as the company scales toward its next stage.
What You'll Do
  • Own and grow enterprise clinical accounts across the Central U.S. and Canada.
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities while expanding strategic customer relationships.
  • Build trusted relationships with pathology leaders, CIOs, CMOs, COOs, CEOs, and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through contract execution.
  • Develop account strategies that align customer clinical, operational, and financial priorities with Proscia's solutions.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Clinical, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to accelerate customer success and market adoption.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and account planning within Salesforce.
  • Represent Proscia as a trusted advisor and strategic partner throughout the customer journey.

Success in This Role
You'll be successful if you:
  • Build executive relationships that create strategic opportunities.
  • Consistently generate new business and expand existing accounts.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Create momentum through disciplined prospecting and executive engagement.
  • Consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Operate with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and collaboration.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of successful enterprise healthcare software sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding quota in enterprise sales roles.
  • Experience selling complex software solutions into hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, diagnostic laboratories, or similar healthcare organizations.
  • Executive presence with experience engaging C-suite decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex buying committees and long enterprise sales cycles.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and disciplined forecasting.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as Sandler, Challenger, or similar.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60%.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in digital pathology, diagnostics, laboratory medicine, healthcare AI, radiology, molecular diagnostics, or adjacent healthcare technologies.
  • Existing relationships within pathology or laboratory medicine.
  • MBA, MS, PhD, MD, or other advanced degree.

Beyond Just Work
As a company in healthcare, we want our people to be happy and healthy, in and out of the office. In addition to competitive pay, we ensure everyone on our team is supported with savings, schedule, and insurance options that promote long-term health and personal growth.
Our office environment is designed for creativity and agility: with walls as notepads and couches for collaboration. We're located in the heart of Philadelphia, with views of the city so you can spend your time focusing on what matters most.
At Proscia, we don't just accept differences - we celebrate them, we support them, and we thrive on them for the benefit of our employees, our products, and our community. Proscia is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
