The Position:

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Asset Management Admin's primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Control and administer maintenance modifications to the Asset Management in the Mincom system including change management to entities, standard tasks, procedures, and embedded documents.
  • Finalizes maintenance documents and developments to Kidd standard and publishes within Mincom system to fixed plant and mobile maintenance.
  • Administrate engineering database including drawing/specification register and project files for mine/met sites.
  • Controller of the "Modification Change Management Register" for the mine;
  • Administers labour costing report deficiencies to ensure gaps are addressed in order to maintain proper recoveries for Fixed Plant, and Engineering.
  • Manage SIMS timekeeping accuracy for Fixed Plant Maintenance, Mobile Maintenance and Engineering groups through weekly approval signoffs by the supervisor/superintendents including record keeping for vacation / banked hours booking and consumption.
  • Manage maintenance imbedded contractor support hours invoicing versus timesheet submissions. This includes reconciling invoices, monthly reports to procurement, accounting and OHS departments.
  • Monitors and reconciles supplier invoices to ensure appropriate accruals are made to account for monthly costs commitments to be invoiced.
  • General administrative tasks such as; contact maintenance lists, organizing and distributing weekly maintenance schedules/ work order documents, scanning and filling which includes Mobile PM's, Safety records, Invoicing., order office supplies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in maintenance programs, procedures and computerized work order systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, coordinating and communication skills to work independently or function effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple conflicting interests.
  • Personal character to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong document writing skills, detail and process oriented.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and processes would be considered an asset.
  • Preference to candidates with advanced competency using a variety of computer software (Word, Power Point and Excel including spreadsheets and pivot tables) for complex data processing and/or data entry.
  • Information research skills, database management skills and records management skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive total compensation package including:

  • Company contributions and matching into a Defined Contribution Pension Plan; and
  • Annual compensation of CAD$63,000 to CAD$80,000
