Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, determining their physical capabilities and limitations.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address specific orthopedic conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance overall patient outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities to alleviate pain, restore function, and promote healing, closely adhering to the physician's plan of care.
  • Maintain meticulous records of patient progress and treatment protocols, ensuring compliance with medical and legal standards.
  • Foster strong therapeutic relationships with patients, guiding and motivating them throughout their recovery journey.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their caregivers regarding exercises, home modifications, and self-management strategies.
  • Proactively participate in clinical meetings, contributing to protocol development and discussing innovations in physical therapy practices.
  • Meet minimum productivity metrics while ensuring quality care and patient satisfaction.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Achilles Sports Medicine, our primary focus is on treating individuals with orthopedic disorders, including those recovering from surgery, managing sports injuries, and addressing chronic pain concerns. Patients range from young athletes to older adults, and you will have the unique opportunity to apply your expertise across a diverse spectrum of cases. Your role will involve implementing evidence-based techniques to enhance restoration of function and mobility across all patient demographics.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • A valid State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience with at least two years in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with patients, families, and team members.

  • Ability to build rapport with patients, showing empathy and commitment to their recovery process.
Preferred Experience
