Job description

The Washington Trust Company is seeking a Temporary Wealth Management Assistant to support its Wealth Management Operations team.  This position will assist with the efficient processing of client transactions, account maintenance, reporting, and operational workflows.

Job Summary & Responsibilities: 

  • Immerse yourself in the daily responsibilities, projects, and initiatives of the department
  • Collaborate with seasoned professionals
  • Interact with team members and senior leadership
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Wealth Management Operations

Qualifications:

  • College graduate, or pursuing a degree, in Finance, Accounting, or similar business-related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong language/communication skills
  • Strong administrative support experience
  • Must be available full-time (40 hours/week during business hours)
  • Must have reliable transportation to Westerly, Rhode Island 

Compensation & Benefits:  The good-faith estimated base salary range for this position is $39,520 - $41,600 annually. Actual compensation will be based on factors including experience, skills, certifications, education, and training.
