Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based services to empower children and adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment. The agency, through its programs and services, encourages the inclusion of people with disabilities into the mainstream of society, including social, recreational, family and work activities.
The Records Management Assistant supports the processing and maintenance of consumer and PCA/Worker records by receiving documents, updating information, and assisting with electronic filing. This role helps ensure records are accurate, organized, and up to date while following established procedures and guidelines. The Assistant contributes to efficient operations by supporting record updates, resolving basic issues, and maintaining data integrity across systems.
  • $19.50 an hour
  • Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • Full-time, 35 hours a week
  • 4 weeks in person training, then hybrid
  • Stoughton, MA location
Essential Job Functions
Documentation Intake and Processing
  • Receive and review documents submitted via email, fax, or internal systems
  • Process standard forms and requests using established procedures
  • Assist with reprint requests such as pay stubs or tax documents
  • Electronically file documents and maintain organized digital records
Data and Record Maintenance
  • Assist with updates to demographic and contact information
  • Perform basic quality checks to ensure accuracy of records
  • Support updates related to status changes such as terminations or discharges
  • Ensure records are current and properly documented
Payment Method and ACH Account Management
  • Assist with processing payment method updates such as direct deposit changes
  • Help maintain accurate account information in internal systems
Issue Resolution and Support
  • Research basic issues using internal tools and follow up as needed
  • Escalate complex issues or discrepancies to appropriate team members
  • Assist with clarifying documentation requirements
