Electrical Apprentice / Electrician Helper (Commercial & Residential Service)
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Classification: Non-Exempt
Pay: $18 โ€“ $24 per hour (based on experience)


Position Overview:
We are hiring an Electrical Apprentice to support our Electrical Repair Technician Foreman in servicing commercial and residential customers throughout Fort Myers. This is a hands-on, field-based role with strong growth opportunity in electrical service and repair.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed electricians and Foreman on commercial and residential service calls

  • Support troubleshooting and repair of panels, breakers, wiring, lighting, switches, and outlets

  • Learn NEC standards and Florida electrical codes

  • Carry tools and materials; prepare and maintain clean job sites

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles

  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures

  • Complete service documentation and track apprenticeship hours


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Enrolled in or willing to enroll in an electrical apprenticeship program

  • Strong interest in electrical service and repair

  • Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment

  • Valid Florida driverโ€™s license preferred

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in Florida heat

  • Must be drug and alcohol free
