Job description

HEALTHCARE STAFFING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – REMOTE

Overview

Our client is an established staffing firm with a growing healthcare division and a strong recruiting/delivery team. This is a “smaller company” environment—high visibility, straightforward sales cycles, and a direct impact on revenue growth.

The Role

We’re hiring a high-energy, new-logo focused Business Development professional (“pure hunter”) to expand a healthcare staffing client base through direct relationships with decision-makers (not MSP/VMS-driven). You’ll own outbound prospecting, pipeline development, and closing new business, then partner internally while recruiting/account support helps manage delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Win new client relationships (new logos) for healthcare staffing services.
  • Run consistent outbound prospecting (calls, emails, networking, referrals).
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline and pipeline management (funnel stages, next steps, follow-up cadence).
  • Partner closely with recruiting/delivery to ensure successful fulfillment and account expansion.
  • Target markets and environments aligned to core strengths, including:
  • Behavioral health / mental health.
  • Corrections and other high-acuity settings.
  • State hospitals and state-procured business (public + private).

Qualifications

  • Proven hunter profile with measurable success winning new accounts.
  • Strong organization and pipeline management (you can clearly explain how you run your desk).
  • Comfort selling directly to decision-makers and moving quickly through a sales process.
  • Healthcare staffing sales experience.
  • Stable tenure.

Location / Territory Notes:

  • Remote role.
  • This hire is not intended to target West Coast markets.
  • Must be able to operate effectively across Midwest/Southeast/East and Texas/Southwest focus areas.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $75,000–$85,000.
  • Commission: % of GP you bring in (new business you generate).

How Success Is Measured

  • Consistent new-logo activity and pipeline build.
  • Converting targeted outreach into signed agreements and active billing.
  • Driving meaningful weekly spread growth over the first year.
