Business Development Manager (Managed Network Services)

Location: Remote (U.S. Based; East Coast preferred)

Compensation: $80k – low $100s base + up to $50k commission for net new growth


The Opportunity

A high-growth connectivity solutions provider is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new revenue growth. You will identify and close opportunities for managed Wi-Fi and network services, building strategic relationships with hospitality brands, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Acquisition: Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution for net new customers.
  • Consultative Selling: Translate technical requirements into commercial solutions focused on ROI and user experience.
  • Market Expansion: Develop vertical-specific use cases and build alliances with integrators, ISPs, and technology partners.
  • Strategic Planning: Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in CRM while collaborating with Sales Engineering and Product teams.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in managed services, SaaS, or networking.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven track record selling into hospitality, MDU, retail, healthcare, or education.
  • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of managed Wi-Fi architectures, LAN/WAN, and network hardware.
  • Business Acumen: Familiarity with recurring revenue (MRR) and subscription-based pricing models.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with guest Wi-Fi, captive portals, analytics, or network security.
  • Ability to engage both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in scale-up or high-growth environments.
