Job description

Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Hershey, PA - 17033 
Duration: 6 12 months contract to hire

HP Aruba is a MUST
EXTREME experience is a PLUS but not mandatory.
This will be a minimum of 6 months contract, with the possibility of becoming full-time. Could possibly do a hybrid, but if the position was to go full-time, the person would be expected to be on site.
About the Position:
Our client is currently undertaking a project to migrate its network from Extreme Networks to HP Aruba. We are looking for a network engineer to help with the rollout of the new network and to support day-to-day operations during this period.

Experience
5 years of experience in a related role with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level (Data Center/Campus) network infrastructure required.
General Experience managing and completing IT-related projects in a mid-to-large-scale network environment required.
General Experience and proficiency in network protocols, including TCP/IP, VxLAN, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, IEEE 802.1x, SD-WAN, multicast, Wi-Fi protocols Required
General Experience and proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
General Experience with the ability to troubleshoot and support a wide range of infrastructure technologies, including Aruba & Extreme Switching, Palo Alto Firewalls, Extreme
and Aruba Wireless, Infoblox DNS, Mitel Phone System.
General Experience and strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
General Experience with strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
