Description
We are seeking a Software Tool Engineer that shall be responsible for the automation of requirements management, change management, requirements gathering/tracking, and configuration management are critical to a projects needs throughout the project's lifecycle. Requirements for all projects need to be traceable to all originating sources and to final outcome of the produced product. Projects require automated solutions to effectively manage the requirements, link source documents, and architectures. Other critical areas requiring automated solutions are incident/problem management, knowledge management, defect tracking, testing, modeling architectures and designs, and lifecycle traceability. TheTools Engineer shall work with teams to identify, engineer, and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or infrastructure. In addition, Tools Engineers shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as other support teams are identified as part of a solution to identify, engineer and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools.

Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Fourteen (14) years combined experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator or configuration management engineer. Eight (8) years experience as a Tools Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution is required. Four (4) years of additional experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator , or configuration management experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Labor Category must be in compliance with certification requirements detailed in DoD8570-M, IAT level 1.
