Description

Are you ready to take your electrical engineering career to the next level? C.T. Male Associates, a highly reputable professional services firm in the Northeast, is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead meaningful projects in renewable energy, new building and renovation designs, and electrical code reviews with our team in Latham, NY.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and drive the electrical design process for new building systems and renovation projects, including NEC load calculations, service/feeder/branch panel design, generator sizing, and lighting design (including photometric studies).
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure a fully integrated design.
  • Support PV solar and other renewable energy projects, working with high-voltage DC, low-voltage AC, and medium-voltage AC systems.
  • Prepare engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyze operations of existing systems.
  • Utilize computer aided design technologies and modeling software to develop designs, sketches, drawings, and construction documents (AutoCAD and Revit).
  • Apply engineering software for electrical design and evaluations.
  • Ensure design quality and coordination, verifying that all documents align with project intent and requirements.
  • Facilitate project documentation both internally and externally, coordinating with clients and other design professionals.
  • Support project managers with scheduling, budget tracking, and overall project execution.
  • Assist with performance studies, which may include site visits and data collection.

Pay Range: $105,000 - $130,000 per year, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.


Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
  • Ten plus (10+) years of experience in electrical engineering, design, or related field, including four plus (4+) years of licensed work.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and strong technical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Revit and engineering software such as SKM, EasyPower, O-Calc Pro, PLSCADD, E-TAP, or Visual Studio.
