Responsibilities & Requirements

Performs general maintenance work and performs other duties as assigned. This includes painting, equipment repair, filter replacements, light bulb changing, PM on equipment defined in P.E. program along with setting up tables and chairs for events and snow & site work. Must be able to work any shift including weekends when needed. Also includes other duties as assigned.

Minimum EducationHigh School diploma, or equivalent required Minimum Work ExperienceExperience in general Maintenance Work desired, preferably Health care maintenance Required LicensesOtherValid driver's license requiredRequired Skills-Knowledge of basic tools requiring dexterity, hand eye coordination and visual coordination-PC skills (Word, Excel) Preferred-In good health with adequate strength and endurance to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities.-Knowledge of how to work safely.-Willing to be trained in any of the categories of maintenance and repair in which he may have need of instruction.-Knowledge of the use of basic hand and power tools and test equipment used in maintenance.-Must be able to read and write legibly. Required Skills- Strong hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual coordination- Communicates well with patients/visitors, department team members, and other hospital staff- Proficient in Word and Excel- Demonstrated ability in using machines, tools, repair of equipment, and maintenance- Demonstrated understanding of relevant equipment, policies (internal and network), and procedures to promote safe operationsOverview
