Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for managing and overseeing the maintenance department of an automotive supplier, ensuring that all production machinery is maintained to ensure maximum efficiency, reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a maintenance program that maximizes equipment uptime and minimizes downtime
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures, and meets industry standards and regulations
  • Plan and oversee maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets, and ensure that all work is completed within budget and on time
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation, including maintenance schedules, work orders, and equipment maintenance logs
  • Manage and train maintenance personnel, ensuring that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Liaise with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques, processes, and equipment
  • Ability to manage budgets and prioritize projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and individuals at all levels of the organization
