About The Role
 
 We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Property Maintenance Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our properties while supporting positive tenant experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with tenants and management to ensure timely and high-quality property maintenance services.
 
 Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day maintenance and operation of properties, ensuring they are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance requests and property-related concerns, responding promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and oversee property inspections, routine maintenance, and repair work, working closely with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Perform and document property condition reports for incoming and outgoing tenants, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, work orders, and vendor invoices.
  • Assist with budgeting by tracking maintenance expenses, reviewing invoices, and supporting financial reporting related to property upkeep.
  • Prepare and distribute maintenance-related notices, reports, and property communications to tenants and management.
  • Foster positive working relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors to support a cooperative and well-maintained community environment.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of maintenance staff, including safety procedures and property standards.
  • Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the employer.
 
What We’re Looking For
 
  • Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a related property services role.
  • Working knowledge of building maintenance practices and safety standards.
  • Experience handling tenant maintenance requests and communicating effectively with tenants in a professional and timely manner.
  • Experience conducting and documenting property condition reports for incoming and outgoing tenants.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
