We're seeking a Maintenance Manager who's ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Maintenance Manager drives facility and equipment reliability by leading maintenance teams, directing preventative programs, managing large budgets, and enforcing safety compliance. This role blends high-level strategic planning with technical troubleshooting to minimize downtime and optimize operational performance. We are seeking a Seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee and optimize our maintenance operations. You will develop strategic asset management plans, lead a team of technicians, and ensure all machinery, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently and safely to support organizational goals

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and long-term asset management strategies.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and manage a team of maintenance professionals, providing technical guidance and performance evaluations.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the departmental budget, controlling costs, managing resource allocation, and forecasting future expenses.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities strictly comply with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and industry safety codes.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experience: 8 to 10+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on Chemical Manufacturing
  • Read, understand, interpret and communicate plans, schematics, P&ID's, layout's, etc.
  • Mechanical systems including but not limited to pumps, motors, conveyors, mixers, loading and packaging systems
  • Troubleshoot and install both low and high voltage lines and systems
  • Ability to correctly weld, pressure test, cut, thread and install piping utilizing MIG, TIG, Stick welding as required
  • Understanding of bulk delivery systems including HMI's, automation, SCADA systems, actuators, valves and sensors with both chemical and gasses
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Focus heavily on Lean manufacturing, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Continuous Improvement Projects and improving MTTR and MTTF

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
  • Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
