About the Role
In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of the building systems inside a client facility. As a Maintenance Technician III you'll be a key leader in running a shift and providing guidance to fellow technicians and Automation Engineer support partners.
Your expertise will be utilized in the optimization and execution of the preventive maintenance process, with a focus on maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance of equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, SCADA devices and programs.
You will provide our client with expert-level support based on the technical problems related to their MHE systems.
What You'll Do
  • Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.

  • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.

  • Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.

  • Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.

  • Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

  • Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.

  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

What You'll Need
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.

  • Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

  • Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.

  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics.

  • Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.

  • Experience reading blueprints and schematics.

  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.

  • 3+ years of work order management.

  • Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly.

  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50lbs. or more.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree with a focus in Electronic Technology or equivalent OR 2+ years of equivalent professional experience

  • Previous leadership experience.

  • Previous vendor management experience.

  • Experience with robotic maintenance.

  • Experience with CMMS

  • Certification preferred in one or more of the following: electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.
