About the team you are joining

The team is responsible for the developmentof Industry advocacy solutions, the roll-out of global standards policies andinitiatives related to aircraft Technical Operations and Supply Chain.
You will report to the Head, Aviation Supply Chain and you will drive maintenance-related initiatives and industry engagement advocacy activities supporting airline operational excellence, reliability and efficiency with a focus on aircraft and equipment maintenance operations.

What your day would be like

Develop and steer aircraft maintenance operations advocacy programs, working groups, taskforces and industry initiatives delivering value to airline members. 
Provide subject matter expertise in technical operations such as aircraft and equipment maintenance, engineering, maintenance planning, predictive maintenance, operational excellence, maintenance workforce capability initiatives, etc.. 
Develop guidance materials, position papers and industry best practices related to aircraft and equipment maintenance operations. Contribute to the continuous development of the IATA MRO SmartHub to deliver new platform features to help airlines with maintenance operations.
Support the department's advocacy activities with ICAO, Regulators and industry associations on maintenance, regulatory and aircraft operational matters.  
Represent the department at industry forums, workshops, conferences, and stakeholder meetings involving Airlines, MROs, Lessors, Regulators and OEMs. Actively contribute to the organisation of IATA technical symposiums, development of technical webinars.
Drive maintenance performance improvement projects using operational data, analytics and industry benchmarking. Support training program opportunities and new operations initiatives benefiting airline members. 
Support and provide expertise to other stakeholders' departments to develop the aircraft maintenance ecosystem within IATA, such as Flight Ops, Fuel team, Consultancy, Training, Technical Publications, Events, Strategic Partners.
Provide support to the team on organizational priorities and special assignments.
