At Résidence Rivière Richelieu, a seniors' complex on the banks of the magnificent Richelieu River, we all work with the same goals: To offer quality services and a wellness environment for employees and residents! As a member of the management team and reporting to the general management, the Maintenance and Upkeep Director is primarily responsible for the human resources management of their department, the management of their team, and the logistics of building maintenance and upkeep operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for a team of housekeeping attendants.

They must also have knowledge of maintenance work and be able to negotiate local agreements with suppliers. Your main responsibilities: To handle the maintenance and repairs, both interior and exterior, of the building and its equipment, as well as the apartments, in accordance with current maintenance and safety standards. Ensure that building control systems are functional at all times To call upon specialized workers and contractors for all work requiring their expertise, to coordinate and monitor the execution of the work Place orders for various household cleaning and furniture products and participate in their receipt and verification Inform your immediate superior, the general manager, of any anomaly or breakage that could compromise safety Your qualifications: Possess 3 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, construction and upkeep.
