Job Description
The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring the proper functioning of the facilities. They support the Director in the daily maintenance of buildings, equipment, and outdoor areas.

Responsibilities

  • Respond efficiently to internal service calls from various departments.
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks: repairs, adjustments, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
  • Understand ventilation, plumbing, electrical, heating, and refrigeration systems.
  • Carry out minor carpentry, painting, assembly, or equipment replacement work.
  • Conduct regular inspections to detect any breakdowns or potential malfunctions.
  • Maintain outdoor areas: cleaning, surfaces, and furniture.
  • Be present and responsive during emergency situations (breakdowns, outages, weather conditions).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to minimize impact on the guest experience.
  • Manage and maintain tools and equipment used on site.
  • Oversee the opening and maintenance of spas, the pool, and the sauna.

Profile Sought

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP) in building maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience in building maintenance, ideally in a hotel or commercial environment.
  • Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks in an active service environment.
  • Autonomy, attention to detail, and responsiveness.
  • Strong communication skills with internal users (staff), with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with tracking tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
