The Opportunity


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations and ensure the safety, functionality, and satisfaction of our communities. This role blends people leadership, administrative coordination, and hands-on technical expertise. The Maintenance Manager will oversee and mentor the maintenance team, manage budgets, ensure resident satisfaction, and perform complex maintenance tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities


People Management


  • Oversee all property maintenance activities, ensuring work meets company quality and safety standards.
  • Manage, train, and develop the maintenance team to ensure technical proficiency, safety compliance, and excellent resident service.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify work quality and identify improvement areas.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture that prioritizes resident satisfaction.


Administrative Management


  • Assign, track, and oversee work orders to ensure timely and efficient completion.
  • Oversee maintenance inventory, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Schedule maintenance staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.
  • Perform HR-related functions, including performance reviews, hiring recommendations, and adherence to policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and company standards.


Technical Maintenance

  • Strong communication skills and customer-service orientation.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
