Job description

OB SUMMARY: 
The Maintenance Inventory Coordinator will organize, order and receive production maintenance spare parts and consumables. The position requires knowledge of purchasing, inventory management and will require the ability to source equipment parts from outside vendors. This position will work closely with the maintenance, engineering and operations teams to ensure operational excellence.  
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:   
Materials Procurement 
Sourcing spare parts & obtaining quotes  
Create and issue purchase orders for stock and non-stock materials 
Ensure delivery of goods and submit goods receipt upon delivery 
Inventory Management 
Maintain the accuracy of the inventory management system through our current CMMS system. 
Stock replenishment orders and inventory maintenance 
Create new inventory in the system and determine appropriate stocking levels 
Prepare and participate in physical inventory. 
Maintain a neat and orderly environment in the stockroom. 
Administrative Record Keeping 
Support finance in the creation of the maintenance budget 
Perform other tasks as assigned
