DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
  • Employees will move material as requested and be responsible for the quality of their work.
  • Employees will be responsible for the cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment, general housekeeping, and 6S activities within their work areas.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply processes, criteria and required procedures.
  • Responsible for performing the job in a safe and environmentally advantageous manner by following all safety, regulatory, and environmental rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • Requires high school education or equivalent.
  • Candidates will need to utilize and apply to job responsibilities complex drawings, specifications, charts, tables, handbook formulas, shop mathematics, and a wide variety of precision-measuring
    instruments.
  • Must have a broad knowledge of mechanical equipment, electricity, plumbing, carpentry, construction, experience with PLCs and grounds keeping as acquired through a four (4)-year accredited apprenticeship or eight (8) or more years of diversified experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Must have the ability to read, understand, and apply relevant codes, including electrical codes and
    safety practices.
  • Required to obtain and maintain forklift operator accreditation.
