THE POSITION:

  • An established and growing organization is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical professional who enjoys transforming data into meaningful business insights that drive strategic decisions
  • Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll develop dashboards, analyze business performance, automate reporting, and help improve operational efficiency. If you enjoy solving complex problems, building scalable reporting solutions, and influencing business decisions through data, we'd love to hear from you

 
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple business systems
  • Design and maintain dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Build reports, queries, and data models that provide accurate, reliable business insights
  • Identify trends, performance drivers, and opportunities for improvement
  • Present findings and recommendations to Finance leadership and business partners
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Sales teams to develop KPIs and reporting metrics
  • Support forecasting, planning, and scenario analysis
  • Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Maintain data integrity, documentation, and reporting standards

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in data analytics
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset

Preferred:

  • Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, NetSuite, SAP ee6, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Working knowledge of SQL, shell scripting, (Python, or R)
  • Experience supporting finance or operations within a complex business environment
