Job description

Data Collection Specialists will need to learn quickly, execute the collection procedure accurately, record data, and document any needed information associated to data. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal skills. S/He should be able to contribute to improvements in data collection projects by identifying any issues in tools and suggesting enhancements and understand changes to collection protocol in response to data needs and workflows. Passion for data, efficiency, and accuracy as well as proactive behavior in addressing issues and problems is a huge plus.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in moderating and conducting data collection, data auditing, or other forms of data markup
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment Practical knowledge of machine learning data processing needs and trade-offs Experience working with prototype assets Experience in research or data collection Experience with any scripting languages and Unix/Linux environment is a plus
- A good sense of humor, a positive attitude, and great team work skills are a must Experience using Mac OS, Confluence, JIRA, and Wiki tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with behavioral data collection, scenario-driven data collection and quantitative data analysis
- Experience with consumer electronic device flashing and readiness
- Experience in hardware and software testing
- Experience with Salesforce or JIRA, or experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
- Experience in data collection and evaluation to drive impact
- Experience in providing peer-to-peer feedback
- Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
- Experience in supporting quantitative and qualitative consumer research
- Experience with iOS and Android systems
