About the Role
We are looking for a Context Layer (Techno-Functional) specialist to help bridge pharmaceutical business needs with data and AI solutions. You'll work with commercial pharma data such as Sales, Field Activity, and Market Access and leverage knowledge of CAR-T ecosystem to help shape data and AI solutions built on Databricks Genie and AWS. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys bridging business and technology.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with commercial business teams to understand needs across pharmaceutical domains like Sales, Field Activity, and Market Access etc., and translate them into clear data and technical requirements.
  • Build and maintain context layer, semantic models, business glossaries, and mappings that connect business concepts to data and AI Assets
  • Apply CAR-T and pharma commercial knowledge to help shape data structures and business rules.
  • Support the configuration of data and AI solutions using Databricks Genie and AWS services
  • Help validate and document solutions, ensuring they reflect business intent accurately.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with both business and technical teams.
  • Strong Understanding of pharmaceutical data domains such as Sales, Field Activity, or Market Access etc.
  • Knowledge of the CAR-T ecosystem, market dynamics, and the broader pharma commercial landscape.
  • Experience with Databricks and AWS services relevant to data and AI solutioning, and a strong willingness to learn cloud/data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS or equivalent).
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and Python skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in pharma commercial data, analytics, or data/AI solutioning.
  • Experience in Context Layer + AI/GenAI.

Eligibility
  • Open to candidates based in, or willing to work from, the San Francisco Bay Area (hybrid).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

The salary range for this position is $119,500 to $163,875 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
