Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Procurement teams to coordinate forecast meetings, foster cross-team alignment, and support planning initiatives.
Strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and deadline management are essential. You will generate reports, analyze trends, and interpret data using tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and thorough validation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports to support forecasting and business review processes.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing data management systems to improve forecasting capabilities.
  • Maintain and update forecasts on a daily and weekly basis to reflect the latest trends and insights.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams-including Sales, Project Management, Product Management, and Procurement-to facilitate and support Sales Forecast meetings, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Support system enhancements and changes related to operations and data workflows.
  • Provide strategic and analytical support to management for organizational planning and decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by applying best practices in data collection, validation, and analysis.
  • Monitor internal client and team feedback to identify and recommend process improvements.
  • Champion and uphold the company's mission, vision, and core values in daily activities.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • SQL Server proficiency and Data modeling - including complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, performance tuning, database design, normalization, and schema interpretation.
  • Microsoft 365 analytics tools: Excel, Power BI and SharePoint/OneDrive.
  • Data quality and validation - ability to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and integrity issues.
  • Basic scripting - Python or R for data manipulation or automation.
  • Windows environment fluency - file systems, permissions, scheduled tasks, and general troubleshooting.
  • Analytical & Business Skills - Skilled in translating business questions into measurable insights through KPI development, dashboard reporting, data analysis, and adherence to data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Required Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or reporting role.
  • Hands-on experience working with Microsoft SQL Server in production environments.
  • Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards or similar BI tools.
  • Demonstrated history of supporting business teams (finance, operations, sales, HR, etc.) with data insights.
  • Experience working with large datasets, data cleansing, and data validation.
  • Prior work in environments using Microsoft 365 for collaboration and reporting.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) for SQL scripts or analytics code.
  • Experience with statistical analysis or forecasting.

Salary Range
$90,000 - $110,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
