Job description

Maintenance Aide Full time

The Maintenance Aide helps to assist with general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.

  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
  • Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • 2 years experience in building and grounds maintenance; able to speak, read, and write English.
  • Ability to work well with the diverse resident population and adapts to changes.
  • Ability to recall and follow instructions.
  • Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge of Life Safety regulations.
  • Experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge.
  • Must meet all pre-employment requirements including physical, TB test, and drug screen
