We are seeking an inspired and motivated self-starter to help lead Gaia into the international Spanish-speaking market. The International Program Manager will be charged with managing a multi-disciplinary effort, including translate our site, find regionalized talent, identify market opportunities and local partners, ensure site functions are localized, and plan the overall launch around Gaia's entry into Spanish speaking markets around the world. The optimal candidate speaks Spanish natively.

The International Program Manager will be responsible for day-to-day launch and management of new international markets with an initial focus on Spanish markets.
  • Create and manage to cross-department project plan
  • Identify and manage translation resources, vendors and in-country partnerships (subtitles and dubbing) for launch and ongoing support and trouble shooting
  • Manage and report out budget and financial performance metrics
  • QA all translations for quality and tone. Scope includes subtitling video content, dubbing video content and translating all supported user screens (e.g., website, apps, connected TV devices) as well as customer service portal
  • Working with the marketing department, develop launch marketing plans for target countries; includes identifying and securing in-country marketing agencies
  • Work with digital operations and merchandising teams to ensure key processes are established and managed for ongoing translation integration
  • Identify potential M&A targets (e.g., content partnerships, SVOD / ad based services)
  • Partner with customer service to develop customer service support plans

  • Fluent native Spanish speaker (preferably Latin America)
  • Connections in Latin American countries who can assist with translation services (preferred)
  • Fluid understanding of cultural differences and how to localize Gaia brand, advertising and product messaging
  • Proven project management skills
  • Organized with strong attention to details
  • Strong relationship and team building skills
  • Ability to operate and think independently, as well as collaborate with others
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills both written and verbal

Experience:
  • Familiarity with digital media formats and video content preferred
  • Previous experience working at a successful streaming Subscription Video Service (SVOD) preferred
  • 4 to 5 years direct experience in product management for consumer goods products or services in Latin America

Education:
  • BA or BS undergrad
  • MBA preferred
