Digital Marketing Strategist: Part-time or Full-time

Valley Hope is expanding our Business team by adding this new role of Digital Marketing Strategist. This can be part-time or full-time work-from-home position; however, the ideal candidate with reside within an hour drive of a Valley Hope of Overland Park facility.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Three (3) years of digital marketing experience.
  • One (1) year of experience working on healthcare marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing paid search (Google Ads), PPC campaigns, SEO initiatives, and digital advertising budgets.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and digital reporting platforms.
  • Experience using content management systems (CMS), website optimization tools, and SEO platforms.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.

Preferred:

  • Masters’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Five (5) plus years of digital marketing experience.
  • Three (3) plus years of experience working on healthcare marketing campaigns with a preference for behavioral health.
  • Google Ads Certification and/or Google Analytics Certification.
  • Experience with local SEO and multi-location marketing.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Develops and executes integrated digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and service line priorities.
  • Identifies opportunities to expand brand awareness, increase qualified leads, and improve patient acquisition through digital channels.
  • Monitors emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and recommend innovative strategies that improve digital marketing performance, patient acquisition, and brand visibility.
  • Develops and manages local search strategies, including Google Business Profile optimization, location-specific SEO, online reputation management, and local listings to increase visibility and patient acquisition across all Valley Hope locations.
  • Develops, manages, and optimizes paid search (PPC) and search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns.
  • Leads search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, local SEO, keyword strategy, and content optimization.
  • Monitors search engine algorithm changes and implement strategies to maintain and improve organic rankings.
  • Manages CRM and marketing automation platforms to support lead management, patient engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to optimize website performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
  • Partners with marketing, admissions, clinical leadership, and business development teams to support organizational initiatives.
  • Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs), website traffic, campaign effectiveness, lead generation, and return on investment.
  • Develops dashboards and reports to communicate digital marketing performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Ensures digital marketing efforts maintain brand standards and consistent messaging.
  • Coordinates with outside agencies, vendors, and technology partners as appropriate.
  • Maintains a current working knowledge of trends within substance abuse treatment industry and with State and Federal regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Adheres to Valley Hope’s clinical philosophies, policies, and procedures as well as any other regulating bodies to ensure quality patient care.
  • Participates in all assigned staff meetings, staff development, and training as required.
  • Interacts and communicates with others (patients, co-workers, management, and vendors) in a professional and tactful manner including treating them with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office setting with traditional hours; weekend and evening hours may be required.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time.
  • Able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp other items with hands, for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the workday.
  • Able to work additional hours to the extent necessary.
  • Ability to travel 10% of time if requested by Supervisor. Travel can increase for situational circumstances.
