Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our busy Allergy & Asthma practice. This full-time position is ideal for a motivated professional with strong clinical skills, excellent patient interaction, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced specialty environment. The Medical Assistant will support physicians and clinical staff in providing high-quality care to pediatric and adult patients with allergic and respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists

  • Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and allergy testing

  • Perform spirometry, allergy skin testing, and other diagnostic procedures

  • Administer allergy injections and monitor patients for reactions according to office protocols

  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies and equipment

  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)

  • Provide patient education regarding medications, testing, and treatment plans

  • Maintain infection control and safety standards

  • Coordinate with front desk and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Qualifications
